Retinol Eye Balm Application Guide

Step 1: Prepare Your Skin

Gently cleanse and pat your skin dry, ensuring it's free of any makeup or impurities. Apply the retinol eye balm after any serums, exfoliants, or toners, and before your moisturizer.

Step 2: Apply with Care

With a gentle touch, apply the balm around your eye area following the orbital bone. Target those wrinkle-prone areas while avoiding the inner corners and eyelids to prevent irritation. Remember, direct contact with the eyes should be avoided.

Step 3: Gradual Introduction

Start by using the balm no more than three times a week. As your skin adjusts, you can increase the frequency to every other night, and eventually, to every evening as tolerated.

Step 4: Evening Routine

For optimal results, incorporate the balm into your night time skincare routine. This allows the retinol to work its magic overnight.

Step 5: Sun Protection

Daily sunscreen is crucial. Retinol products can make your skin more susceptible to the sun, so wearing sunscreen during the day is a must to safeguard your skin.

Step 6: Proper Storage

Keep the balm away from direct sunlight and store it in a cool place, below 23°C (73°F). For extra precaution, you can store it in the refrigerator.

This product is formulated to be gentle on the delicate eye area. However, as with all retinol products, there's a potential risk for irritation. If you experience symptoms such as discomfort, irritation around the eyes, or persistent eye dryness, please discontinue use.

Always avoid direct contact with the eyes. If the product gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

Vitamin C Face Balm Application Guide

Step 1: Clean Slate
Begin with a thorough face cleanse to ensure all impurities, oils, or makeup are removed. After cleansing, gently pat your skin dry.

Step 2: Integrate into Your Morning Ritual
In the AM, follow through with your skincare routine—cleansing and toning. Apply the Vitamin C Face Balm as the concluding step before you proceed with moisturiser, sunscreen and makeup.

Step 3: Enrich Your Nighttime Regimen
If you’re using the balm in the PM, make it the final touch of your nighttime skincare routine prior to your moisturiser. Focus on any areas that need extra care.

Step 4: Seamless Application
Smoothly apply the balm over your face, paying special attention to areas that are dull, dry, or blemished. Employ broad, outward strokes from the face's center, akin to a gua-sha tool's technique. For sensitive spots, warm a bit of balm between your fingers and dab gently onto the skin.

Step 5: Preservation and Care
After application, ensure the cap is tightly closed. Store the balm in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Additional Tips:
Vitamin C is beneficial during the day; thus, we recommend its use in your morning routine, paired with our Retinol Balm in the evening. For night use of Vitamin C, wait until the Retinol Balm is fully absorbed beforehand. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.

Cleanse Your Skin: Start with a gentle cleanser to remove dirt, oil, and makeup, creating a clean base for the balm.

Apply Toners or Serums First (Optional): If you’re using a toner or serum, apply these products first and allow them to absorb fully.

Apply Bakuchiol Face Balm: While your skin is slightly damp, gently apply a small amount of the balm to areas of concern, such as fine lines, wrinkles, or dark spots.

Follow with Moisturizer: Seal in hydration and nutrients by applying a nourishing moisturizer.

Using Retinol Eye Balm in Combination with Bakuchiol Face Balm (Night Only):

Cleanse Your Skin: Gently cleanse your face and pat dry to ensure it's free of dirt, oil, and makeup.

Apply Retinol Eye Balm First:

Gently dab the balm around the orbital bone (avoiding the eyelids and inner corners of the eyes).

Apply before any toner, serum, or moisturizer to allow the retinol to work directly on your skin.

Apply Toner or Serum (Optional): If your routine includes a toner or serum, apply it after the eye balm and let it absorb fully.

Apply Bakuchiol Face Balm:

After the toner or serum, gently apply Bakuchiol Face Balm over the Retinol Eye Balm around the orbital area.

Extend the balm to other areas of concern on your face, such as fine lines, wrinkles, or uneven skin tone.

Seal with a Moisturizer: Finish your routine with a hydrating moisturizer to lock in all the active ingredients and keep your skin nourished overnight.
